Reduce the cost of your sludge dewatering without compromising efficiency.

ZebraTube® dewatering bags use woven polymer fabrics as semi-permeable membranes to trap the solids inside. The sludge is pumped in and the geotextile acts as a filter, allowing water to pass through but retaining the solid matter.
When the bags have filled and completely drained, the solid material is dry enough to remove or re-use. The filtrate can also be collected and recycled.

Small-Scale Dewatering
Industries: Mining | Agriculture | Food & Beverage | Manufacturing | Small-scale water & wastewater treatment

ZebraTube® small-scale square bags are ideal for dewatering smaller sludge volumes on a batch or continuous basis.
The open-top configuration ensures you can easily access and monitor the dewatered material. Forklift handles are fitted to the bag for swift handling and disposal.
Our bags can dewater nearly any type of slurry they are filled with, so why not select one of our small-scale bags to test on your operation?
Bag Filling Process

1 Sludge enters the bag via pumping or gravity drainage.
2 In some cases, a flocculating agent is added to agglomerate particles and increase dewatering efficiency.
3 Solids settle in the bag and a filter cake forms on the geotextile surface, enhancing filtration through the material. Filtrate can be collected and re-used.
4 Dry solids within the dewatering bags are removed.

Tubes can be
STACKED
to save space

ZebraTube® tubular bags are suitable for large dewatering projects.
Tube sizes range from 5m circumference by 5m length, to 35m circumference by 90m length. We can also custom-design to suit the size of your specific operation.
The stackability of tubes enables efficient use of space, while the quality of the geotextile fabric allows for swift dewatering of large sludge volumes, with minimal labour requirements.
Our geofabric tubes can dewater all types of slurry.

Tube Filling Process
1 Sludge enters the tubes via pumping or dredging.
2 In some cases, a flocculating agent is added to agglomerate particles and increase dewatering efficiency.
3 Solids settle in the tube and a filter cake forms on the geotextile surface, enhancing filtration through the material. Filtrate can be collected and re-used.
4 Dry solids consolidate within the dewatering tubes as the filtrate drains through the geotextile. The contained material can then be removed for disposal or re-use.
